Microneedling for Reducing Acne Scarring

Microneedling works to treat acne scars by treating the deep layer of skin called the dermis, while leaving the top layer of skin unharmed. At the Z Center for Cosmetic Health, Dr. Zadeh uses different microneedling techniques, including a revolutionary new microneedling device that contains 24 karat gold needles, each of which is thinner than a strand of hair. When applied to the skin, this unique device delivers skin treatment products deep into the skin and stimulates collagen growth in the skin. Radiofrequency microneedling adds heat to the process which helps further remodel collagen. This combination of collagen induction and deep treatment is excellent for reducing the appearance of acne scars.

Chemical Peels for Acne Scars and Acne Prevention

Punch excision is a minimally invasive acne scars treatment that removes damaged, scarred skin with a small punch tool. This treatment is often used on thin, “ice pick” like scars that are slim but have deep impressions.

Nano-Ray Laser for Acne Scar Removal

Nano-Ray laser treatment is one of the best treatments for acne scarring. This treatment works to remove damaged skin, allowing new healthy skin to take its place. It works through the application of a series of light pulses that cause rapid vaporization of water in the skin tissue. This treats and removes blemishes and wrinkles on damaged skin, allowing new skin to replace it.
